1-Gas chromatography (GC)

Gas chromatography is an instrumental method for the separation and identification of volatile and thermally stable chemical compounds. The process is based on separating mixture of compounds into its individual components.

2-Gas Chromatography鈥揗ass Spectrometry (GC-MS)

Gas Chromatography鈥揗ass Spectrometry (GC-MS) is a hyphenated analytical technique that combines the separation properties of gas-liquid chromatography with the detection feature of mass spectrometry to identify different substances within a test sample. GC is used to separate the volatile and thermally stable substitutes in a sample whereas聽GC-MS聽fragments the analyte to be identified on the basis of its mass.

3-High performance-Liquid chromatography (HPLC):

It's the most widely used techniques that involves the separation of liquid mixture sample into its individual parts by passing through stationary phase with carrier liquid mobile phase delivered by a pump. These components are separated from one another by the column packing that involves various chemical and/or physical interactions between the molecules and the packing particles.

4-Atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS):

Is an analytical technique that measures the concentrations of elements. It makes use of the wavelengths of light specifically absorbed by an element. The atoms absorb ultraviolet or visible light That correspond to the energies needed to promote electrons from one energy level to another higher energy level.

5-Liquid chromatography-Mass spectrometry (LC-MS):-

It's an analytical technique that combines the physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography (or HPLC) with the mass analysis capabilities of聽mass spectrometry聽(MS). The sample is separated by LC, and the separated sample species are sprayed into atmospheric pressure ion source, where they are converted into ions in the gas phase. The mass analyzer is then used to sort ions according to their mass to charge ratio and detector counts the ions emerging from the mass analyzer and may also amplify the signal generated from each ion. As a result, mass spectrum is created, which is used to determine the elemental or isotopic nature of a sample, the masses of particles and of molecules, and to elucidate the chemical structures of molecules.

6-CHNS/O Elemental Analyzer:

It鈥檚 a technique that determines the percentage of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulphur and oxygen of organic compounds based on the principle of ''Dumas method'' which involves the complete and instantaneous oxidation of the sample by ''flash combustion''. The combustion products are separated by a chromatographic column and detected by thermal conductivity detector, which gives an output signal proportional to the concentration of the individual components of the mixture.

The 2400 Series II CHNS/O Elemental Analyzer is easy-to-use and capable of operating in three modes: CHN, CHNS and Oxygen, is fully automated, and includes a 60 position autosampler.聽It can handle a wide variety of sample types including solids, liquids, volatile and viscous samples.
