A Lecturer from the University of Zakho Has Published a Research in ACS Publications with Impact Factor 10.3
Sameera Sh. Mohammed Ameen, a lecturer from the Chemistry department, College of Science at the University of Zakho in colaboration with Prof. Dr. Khalid M. Omer from Chemistry department, College of Science at the University of Sulaimania have published new crystalline nano-materials and named after the University of Zakho as UoZ-2. The research entitled “Intrinsic Dual-State Emission Zinc-Based MOF Rod like Nanostructures with Applications in Smartphone Readout Visual-Based Detection for Tetracycline: MOF-Based Color Tonality”
Notably, their work has been published in one of the high-quality and esteemed journals with IF 10.3. The nano-materials were used for designing a new bioassay for the detection of tetracycline on paper and in solution. This bioassay based on this new nanomaterial will have a scientific and industrial impact on diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
